MoFo Day 16: Sunday Brunch
Carl and I enjoyed a lovely, relaxed brunch this morning at our favorite local vegan restaurant, Great Sage. We started with a bowl of smoky black bean soup. Then, I ordered the breakfast burrito, which is filled with tofu scramble, roasted potatoes, tempeh bacon, and a spicy sauce. It comes with a side of vegetables, and today they were serving quickly sauteed zucchini, chard, and tomatoes. I could only eat half the burrito, so I’ll have a great breakfast tomorrow, too.
We’re headed to my in-laws’ for dinner tonight, and Carl is cooking, so I’m off kitchen duty tonight! I’m going to go spend some time with my family today, since that happens so rarely these days. See you tomorrow!
